Last week Italy’s Fiera Milano exhibition center hosted the 70th international motorcycle exhibition EICMA 2012.
New models of sport bikes, scooters, motorcycles, touring motorcycles, hypermotards and custom motorcycles... But those Aprilias, Husqvarnas, Yamahas, Kawasakis, Harley Davidsons, Triumphs, Suzukis and MV Augustas would never have captured so much attention if it had not been for all the beautiful girls who reallymade the vehicles look glorious!

The 8th international motorcycle trade show Moto Park 2011 was recently on display at the Crocus Expo exhibition center.
Unfortunately, it’s impossible to get to Moto Park 2011 safely by bike, so our advice is – don’t even think about it! We feel compelled to warn those audacious guys who rode to the Moto Park on sports bikes while there was still snow on the ground.

Ingolstadt fairy tale
|
3 comment(s)
Audi, currently one of the most successful and ambitious car manufacturers, was founded nearly three centuries ago in the German village of Ingolstadt on the banks of the Danube. Truth be told, if you take a stroll around the town, you can see what people missed here even that long ago.
It is not widely known that almost up until the 1960s, Audi produced only motorcycles. Motornews.ru journalists have been to the birthplace of Audi, the plant and the museum of the famous Ingolstadt-based brand. In the Audi museum, there are not only motorbikes, but also automobiles on display, but nevertheless, we will focus on two-wheel vehicles here.

Fascination, Supremacy and Riding Comfort with Six Cylinders.
Munich. Six-cylinder power units have always had particular appeal, offering not only supreme smoothness and refinement, but also superior power and performance as well as a truly emotional driving – or, in this case, riding – experience. A further point is that the typical sound of a straight-six almost like a turbine is absolutely incomparable, with straight-six power units at BMW having stood for fascinating engine technology in BMW cars for more than seven decades.

The 67th EICMA motorbike show was held in Fiera Milano, Italy’s exhibition center, on November 10-15 Motonews.ru journalists attended EICMA 2009, which occupied the area of some 55,000 sq. m. The event brought together top motorbike and scooter manufacturers, such as Piaggio Group, BMW Motorrad, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Husqvarna, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Triumph, Moto Guzzi, Rizoma and others, i.e. a total of 420 participants and more than 500 brands.
Kawasaki and BMW Motorrad boasted the biggest stands among all. The Kawasaki stand was the most breath taking with plenty of bike models available to sit on and touch, and BMW stand was impressive in terms of its size and the gem that it showed off, i.e. awesome BMW Concept6. Ducati will be remembered by its stand’s size as well, along with friendly girls that could even speak Russian a little. In general, the way EICMA was organized, its endless show rooms, and, of course, reputable motorcycle producers make this Milan exhibition a very special event. For this reason, Motonews.ru suggests that future visitors to EICMA in Milan prepare to spend at least a week there, to see the latest motorcycle models and become part of this endless motorbike world.
