Troy Bayliss to compete in the American Flat Track Grand National Series 2015 on a special bike inspired by the Ducati Scrambler
|
1687 comment(s)
Just a few days after Troy Bayliss officially announced he’ll be taking part in the AMA Pro Flat Track 2015 championship, the first picture of the Ducati on which the three-times World Superbike Champion will be returning to the track has been released.
The bike is built around a Ducati twin-cylinder twin-valve air-cooled motorcycle and is specifically set up for oval track racing, being exactly what inspired the sportiest Ducati Scrambler, the Full Throttle. Like the bike that’ll be ridden by Bayliss, the Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle features low-slung wide bars, dual tailpipes on the right-hand side and race number holders, which on Troy’s bike will be displaying the Aussie’s trademark ‘21’.

Troy Bayliss tours Ducati Motor Thailand factory

Three-times World Superbike Champion, Troy Bayliss, made a VIP visit to the Ducati Motor Thailand factory as he returned from the first ever round of the World Superbike Championship in Buriram, Thailand.
Enjoying a return-to-action to substitute for the injured Davide Giugliano at the weekend, the 45-year Australian, accompanied by Paolo Ciabatti (Ducati Corse Sporting Director and MotoGP Project Manager), took time out after the race to make a tour of Ducati’s brand new facility with Production Manager, Surasak Lalitkaigtul, and Pierfrancesco Scalzo (Ducati Asia General Manager - Sales & Marketing).
