Martin & Dunlop ‘spellbound’ with BMW S 1000 RR on Day One

After just four days of testing with BMW’s S 1000 RR, the Tyco BMW team was able to give road racing stars Guy Martin and William Dunlop a great opening day base setting on their new bikes at Almeria, during the official BMW Motorrad test camp.
Both men completed a generous helping of laps around the Andalusia race circuit on Monday, and their positive comments at the end of day one, was praise indeed for all involved at Tyco BMW and the S 1000 RR.

Following on from a productive four-day test at Cartagena, the Tyco BMW team will now take in the official BMW Motorrad test camp at Almeria in Spain for the next three days [today through to Wednesday].
The team’s road racers William Dunlop and Guy Martin will join their British championship counterparts Michael Laverty, Tommy Bridewell and Alastair Seeley at the Andalusian venue in the south east of Spain.

Springhill house venue of choice for launch of Tyco BMW road racing effort

The 17th Century National Trust plantation house at Springhill, just a stone’s throw from TAS Racing’s headquarters in Moneymore, was the perfect venue to launch this year’s Tyco BMW International Road Racing team of Guy Martin and William Dunlop.
Both men will open their account on the all-new Tyco BMW Motorrad machinery during a scheduled test in Spain next month, riding alongside their British championship team-mates Michael Laverty, Tommy Bridewell and Alastair Seeley.
