Moscow’s best stunt riders to throw big party
Next Monday, Moscow will be home to the main motorbike event of the summer, celebrated to coincide with international motorbike rider day, also known as Ride to Work Day.
Traditionally, R2W day is held in the middle of the summer. This year will mark the 18th and is scheduled for June 15, 2009, to take place in Dub Club (Bld. 7/7, 5 Nizhny Susalny Pereulok).

Moto Taxi comes to Moscow
Motonews.ru is happy to remind its readers that the moto taxi, i.e. the new and progressive service, has been available in Moscow since last year!
In order to make it easier for passengers to move around Moscow city and the country roads, the 1 Motto company came up with an innovative new moto taxi service called ‘The First Moto Taxi.’ It is also the fastest courier service riding three-wheeled Piaggio MP3 and Gilera scooters.

Scooter season to re-open in Moscow
On April 11, 2009, the Moscow Scooter Club will be celebrating the new scooter season at the traditional place, the Alcatraz motoclub.

No more scooter riding in Moscow this year
Despite the fact that we still see the sun from time to time, the weather no longer affords us warm temperatures, forcing scooter riders to settle for cars or public transport until next spring.
Before locking the two-wheel vehicles in garages until next year, however, the Moscow Scooter Club arranged traditional farewell celebrations. Most scooter clubs close the season around October 11, when everybody gets together on the Vorobyovy Hills (Moscow) and then parts for their own celebrations. No exact time is traditionally set for the scooter riders’ meeting on the Vorobyovy Hills.
