Russia's Sochi to host Formula 1 races
The document to this effect was signed by Mikhail Kapirulin, general director of the Omega center for the transfer of technology of the construction sector of the Krasnodar region, and Bernie Ecclestone, the owner of commercial rights to the Formula 1 series.
Presumably, the world’s most admired car races will be held in the southern Russian city starting in 2014. The agreement spans 7 years, but can also be extended for another 5 years.

Russian politicians on bike safety
It’s no secret for anyone that a motorbike, scooter and even a low-powered electric bike are vehicles of increased risk, especially when used on public roads. Nevertheless, many bikers often neglect even the simplest means of protecting their health and avoiding unnecessary injuries.
In the summer, as a result of the heat, many bikers tend to take off not only their jackets and protective gear, but also helmets. Consequently, there is a rising number of tragedies on the roads, since bikers simply have no chance of survival. The problem of bikers’ safety must be solved by the bikers themselves in most cases.
Vladimir Putin: The motorbike is a symbol of freedom!
During his working visit to Ukraine, Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin attended the annual international bike show devoted to the Black Sea and the 65th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War organized by Night Wolves.
The Russian prime minister arrived at the bike show at Gasfort Lake near Sevastopol riding on a three-wheeler at the head of the biker’s column. He looked quite striking: wearing a black shirt, black pants, black fingerless gloves and dark sunglasses, he was riding a Harley Davidson decorated with both Russia and Ukraine’s flags.
